Noen ganger må du helt inn i ditt mørkeste kapittel i livet for å finne døren til et lysere.
For meg ble sangen «Sound of Silence» (i Disturbed sin live versjon) en slags vandrevise for et slikt veistykke i mitt liv.
Den sang det stadig til meg at jeg kan finne «the words of the prophets’ – nåde og sannhet, rettferdighet og fred – i det lave, i det vi overser og der vi ikke ønsker å leite; «on subway walls and tenement halls».
Min erfaring? At det stemmer! Ingenting har tatt meg høyere enn mitt livs laveste. Ingenting har latt meg bli så kjent med meg selv som da alt var ukjent.
